What we collect

Your account (Apple ID and the name if you share it), your passport country, the trip details you ask for (cities, dates, travellers, budget) and a random device id used to count free trips.

Where it lives

Saved trips and bookings (flight number, booking reference, travel agent number) stay on your phone. Your account and trip counter are stored with Supabase.

Service providers

We use trusted technology providers (data hosting and smart text and image processing) to build and translate your plan and read a booking photo if you take one. They receive only the trip details or the photo, never your name or email, and process them on our behalf. We ask for your consent in the app before the first time.

Booking photos

When you snap a booking we read the flight, reference, time and agent number and keep them on your phone only. The photo itself is not kept.

Links and commission

Some booking buttons (hotels, eSIM, tickets) open partner sites, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Their policies apply on their sites.

Notifications and location

Reminders are scheduled on your phone only. The qibla compass uses your compass with your permission; we don’t store your location.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS), and your account data is protected by access rules so no other user can reach it. We never sell your data or use it for ads.

Retention

We keep your account and trip counter while your account exists. If you delete your account we remove its data from our servers within 30 days. We temporarily keep copies of plan and translation texts (with no personal data) to make the service faster.

Age

Janah is meant for people aged 13 and over; under-18s should use it with a parent or guardian.

Your rights

Delete your account and data any time from Account → Delete account. Contact us for any data request.
